I got to "see" Rod today!!!!!!!
We did a video teleconference and it was awesome.
Taniyah and Makkiah came with me since the other kids were in school.
I did get to video tape it so that the other kids could watch it.
We may get to do another one since so few people have signed up!
It was so great to be able to see him AND talk to him at the same time.
Taniyah was so cute.
In the beginning she just STARED at Rod.
She could figure out WHY it was that he was on the tv talking to her.
Then she decided that she would wave at him and say hi.
By the end of the 15 minutes she was clowing him kisses!!
We brought the tape home and she was waving and blowing kisses to him on the tape.
The kids all loved being able to see Dad on the tv even though they didn't get to talk to him.
Maybe in a couple of weeks.

It is totally awesome how they do things these days. The "Sailors of Old" or HasBeens (as they like to call themselves) didn't get the cushy duty of today!! HEE HEE But is was wonderful to see and hear him. So glad you could tape it and share with the rest of us!!
