This is a photo that I took of the ship as it was leaving on deployment. I found the poem online and added it to the picture. A lot of times the kids who are left behind during a deployment get overlooked. I try not to let that happen to my kids.
Your kids are luckier than they will ever, ever realize. Deployment doesn't even have to be happening for them to have extremely loving parents taking care of them.
